Helsinki Expat Meetup was started so the expats in Helsinki and surroundings would have a place to meet others of the kind.

It is a great place to meet new people, make friends and share your experiences. The events are informal and relaxed, mostly they are held in somewhere pretty peaceful and quiet so we can sit down and chat. Every once in a while we could have bar meetup as well. We are noncommercial and it doesn't cost anything to come to the normal meetups. We are from allover the world, different ages and come from different backgrounds. So you shouldn't be afraid of feeling too young, old or left outside.
